ExplodingSitting in the dark next to you. Painfully straining my neck just so the side of my face can sit upon your shoulder. Wishing you would scoot closer. Lifting up your arm so that you put it around me. Watching the fireworks go up into the air. Staring at the lightning dancing in the background. You know you should feel concerned about the lightning and worry that a storm is on its way, but you can’t help but admire her showy, seductively and beautifully dangerous steps. You stare in awe at the different colors exploding before your eyes. Sitting so close you can feel each boom in your chest. Sitting so close you squint at the sheer brightn Exploding
